Engineering Manager, GoBiz, Managed Agencies

Overview

As an Engineering Manager / Principal Software Engineer, you will provide technical direction and lead product design, implementation, and delivery for the GoBusiness platform.

What you'll do

• Define the team’s engineering vision, strategy, and directions aligned to organizational goals.
• Drive system architecture, engineering, and maintenance practices based on industry developments.
• Partner with stakeholders to prioritize and manage roadmaps toward the product vision.
• Create and maintain long-term technical plans and regularly update roadmaps for future needs.
• Mentor engineers through performance discussions, feedback, and professional growth guidance.
• Develop quality, reliability, and security strategies with cross-functional partners.

What you'll need

• Experience working on large, high-availability software systems that operated at scale.
• Hands-on experience across the full technology stack (client, back end, infrastructure, performance, data, etc.).
• Experience building end-to-end systems including UIs, APIs, backend systems, and databases.
• Knowledge of Agile, modular design, pair programming, automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation.
• Experience with React, Angular, Spring Boot, and/or Django for modern full-stack web apps.
• At least 5+ years of development experience in a digital product environment.
