Overview
Enterprise AppOps Security Engineer supporting the Health AppOps team by improving security, compliance, and operational resilience of enterprise applications.
What you'll do
- Analyze application security risks and identify vulnerabilities across an application portfolio.
- Coordinate remediation of security findings and ensure timely closure against organizational SLAs.
- Support compliance initiatives aligned with organizational policies and industry standards.
- Gather, review, and maintain audit evidence and documentation for internal/external audits.
- Participate in Operational Readiness Review (ORR) checkpoints to validate production readiness requirements.
- Develop automation for security, compliance, and operational workflows, reporting, and tracking.
What you'll need
- 3–4 years of experience in Application Operations, IT Operations, Security Operations, Compliance, or related domains.
- Good understanding of application security concepts and vulnerability management practices.
- Experience supporting compliance frameworks including SOC 2, PCI DSS, and NIST.
- Familiarity with audit processes, controls testing, and evidence collection.
- Experience with scripting/automation using PowerShell, Python, Shell scripting, or similar.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Computer Science/Information Technology or a related field.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of vulnerability management tools such as Tenable, Qualys, or Rapid7.
- Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, or other ITSM/GRC platforms.
- Security-related certifications such as Security+, SSCP, or equivalent.
- Exposure to DevSecOps and secure application lifecycle practices.
