Full Stack Engineer

Overview

Full Stack Engineer to build end-to-end features for the Mem0 Platform, from API and UI design to backend logic, data models, and production deployment.

What you'll do

• Ship end-to-end product features including API design, UI development, backend logic, and deployments.
• Optimize for scale and speed by improving latency, caching, and query patterns.
• Own code quality by writing tests, enforcing typing/linting, reviewing PRs, and maintaining documentation.
• Collaborate with design, research, and customers to refine UX and requirements.
• Operate production by adding observability, setting alerts, debugging issues, and driving improvements.
• Iterate using product sense based on data and feedback.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of experience shipping full stack web applications at scale using Next.js/React and Python.
• Strong Python fundamentals and familiarity with REST, Postgres, Redis, and Celery (or similar queues).
• Solid front-end depth including component architecture, state management, forms, accessibility, and SSR/ISR.
• Experience owning features end to end from design doc through rollout and post-launch iteration.
• Code quality mindset including unit/integration testing, type safety (TypeScript, mypy, or pyright), and CI/CD.
• Comfort operating production systems with logs/metrics/tracing and meeting low-latency requirements.
• Clear communication working across design, research, and GTM.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating LLM or memory features such as RAG, embeddings, and vector DBs.
• Experience with real-time features (WebSockets/server actions/streaming), file uploads, and background jobs at scale.
• Infra awareness including Docker, IaC, Kubernetes basics, and deployment patterns for Vercel and AWS/GCP.
• Product/UI polish skills such as Tailwind, design systems, charts, and performance budgets.
• Security/privacy basics including PII handling and audit logging.
• Prior time at an early-stage startup.
