Overview
Own Dex, Juniper Square's AI-native data warehouse for private markets, as a zero-to-one product, defining its vision, multi-year strategy and roadmap as both an external product and the internal data backbone for fund administration.
What you'll do
- Take a new product zero-to-one, transforming Dex from an idea into a reality.
- Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Dex as both an external product and the internal backbone for Juniper Square's fund administration operations, and sequence the roadmap to scale across new use cases and customer profiles.
- Talk to customers, spending meaningful time with GPs who depend on clean, aggregated data and with the internal fund administration team, and use those insights to sharpen strategic direction.
- Lead cross-functionally with engineering, design, fund administration, customer success, sales, forward-deployed AI development teams, and executive stakeholders to align on strategy and execution.
- Ship end-to-end, taking problems from discovery through delivery, planning projects, defining requirements, and working with go-to-market and fund administration teams to drive adoption and business value.
- Harness the power of AI, owning product direction for AI-powered capabilities across the pipeline: agentic document ingestion, automated classification and extraction, intelligent mapping and enrichment, human-in-the-loop review, search and retrieval, and AI-driven data insights.
- Simplify complexity in private markets data, including inconsistent administrator formats, unstructured documents, complex fund structures, and a high accuracy bar.
- Be a leader, setting direction across multiple workstreams and engineering teams, mentoring other PMs, and raising the bar for product craft across the organization.
What you'll need
- 10+ years of product management experience in B2B or Enterprise SaaS, with a significant portfolio of shipped work across the full development lifecycle.
- Proven experience owning a complex product area end-to-end, from strategy and roadmap through execution and iteration, ideally in a zero-to-one context.
- Background in data warehousing, data modeling, document ingestion and extraction, ETL/ELT pipelines, data quality and validation.
- Experience building agentic workflows or production LLM features with real evaluation and monitoring discipline.
- Fluency with LLMs and common AI tools (e.g. Claude, Cursor), able to run your own prototypes and use AI to get work done faster than a traditional PM workflow would allow.
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to articulate product decisions clearly to engineers, designers, executives, and customers alike.
- Track record of leading through influence, ideally mentoring or managing other product managers, and setting strategy that multiple teams execute against.
