Health & Safety Analyst

Overview

The Health & Safety Analyst is a technical lead for site ESH, owning OSHA compliance and critical safety programs at a 24/7 tire manufacturing facility.

What you'll do

• Serve as the site subject matter expert for OSHA General Industry (29 CFR 1910) regulations for tire manufacturing operations.
• Conduct routine and targeted safety inspections, compliance audits, and risk assessments across site areas.
• Drive site-wide safety strategy to maintain regulatory readiness and sustained OSHA compliance.
• Coordinate OSHA inspections, complaints, and inquiries, including documentation and abatement/corrective action follow-up.
• Own and continuously improve safety programs including LOTO, PIT, Electrical Safety/NFPA 70E, Machine Safety & Guarding, and Working at Heights/Fall Protection.
• Lead or support incident, injury, and near-miss investigations using root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
• Participate in a rotational on-call schedule to support 24/7 operations and emergency safety needs.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, Industrial Technology or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3 years of safety experience in manufacturing or heavy industrial environments.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required, and the employer will not sponsor employment visas for this posting.

Nice to have

• 5 years in manufacturing, industrial operations or construction safety.
