Internal - Technician IV (Maintenance Lead) – Ext/Cal (Hot Prep) Area

Overview

Internal Maintenance Lead role for the Ext/Cal (Hot Prep) area, managing and leading a multi-craft maintenance team with a focus on safety, PM execution, and zero-breakdown performance.

What you'll do

• Manage and lead the multi-craft technicians to support a zero-breakdown culture.
• Decide on actions for equipment downtime and schedule technicians based on PMs and down equipment.
• Promote and monitor safety in the area and across the plant.
• Promote and train TPM/PM concepts and problem-solving methods (CBS, 5 why, clean, inspect, repair).
• Execute daily maintenance shift reporting and follow through on work order/PM completion and quality.
• Escalate technical issues to the lead engineer after 2 hours of consecutive asset downtime.
• Manage attendance/vacation communication and other administrative tasks as directed.

What you'll need

• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Have 3+ years’ maintenance experience in a production environment.
• Be legally authorized to work in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship for this job opening.
• Demonstrate flexibility to adjust work schedules to meet maintenance and production needs.
• Have a broad technical background across production mechanical, pneumatic, PLC, electrical, hydraulic, electronic devices, and machining/grinding.
• Be able to monitor production equipment in an assigned engineering maintenance area for early intervention.
• Be able to coach the maintenance team regarding ongoing training needs.
