Overview
IT Hardware Procurement Manager for AI infrastructure, focusing on building and running a global supply chain for high-performance compute and sovereign AI cloud platforms.
What you'll do
- Lead end-to-end sourcing for high-performance compute (HPC) and sovereign AI cloud platforms.
- Identify, vet, and manage Tier 1/2 OEMs and regional distributors for servers, network gear, and cabling.
- Drive contract lifecycles including MPAs, SLAs, and warranty/support negotiations.
- Monitor semiconductor trends to mitigate long-lead-time supply risks.
- Support solution engineering with just-in-time inventory for mission-critical hardware.
- Partner with systems engineering and architecture to translate specs into multi-year procurement roadmaps.
- Oversee procurement and delivery of integrated components such as NVIDIA Grace CPUs, NVLink, InfiniBand, and ConnectX-8.
- Architect procurement workflows for security, data residency, and national compliance for sovereign AI cloud deployments.
What you’ll need
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related STEM field.
- 5+ years of experience in HPC or hyperscale datacenter procurement environments.
- Deep understanding of NVIDIA reference architectures and NVIDIA-related hardware familiarity.
- Foundational understanding of the hardware-software stack including operating systems, device drivers, and firmware versioning.
- Ability to translate technical engineering requirements into executive-level financial/commercial constraints.
