Joint Professional Services – Technical Support Engineer in Bangalore, India

Overview

Mid-to-senior Joint Professional Services and Technical Support Engineer to support customers in Bangalore, India. You will resolve technical issues with the global Support team and implement/integrate OPSWAT products for customers.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with the global Support team to resolve customer technical issues quickly and comprehensively.
• Coordinate with colleagues to respond to customer technical queries and issues.
• Escalate bugs to the R&D team and manage patching or upgrades in the customer environment.
• Implement and integrate OPSWAT products and solutions purchased by customers.
• Provide advice on best practices and deliver knowledge transfer on administering the solution.
• Conduct regular conference calls and occasional in-person meetings to review open issues.
• Improve issue management processes by coordinating across Support, R&D, Product Management, and other departments.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Windows server.
• Basic knowledge of Linux with willingness to expand.
• Good foundation and willingness to expand networking concepts.
• Basic knowledge of and willingness to expand cybersecurity and critical infrastructure protection knowledge.
• Strong presentation skills to describe and convey ideas clearly.
• Ability to analyze logs and troubleshoot software and IT-related issues.
