Junior Engineer / Engineer - Technical Service

Overview

Serve as a Technical Service / Service Operations Engineer, handling maintenance and safety-focused operations, resolving complex technical issues, and supporting customer communication and field team capability improvement.

What you'll do

• Follow safe working practices and carry out operations per maintenance and safety instructions.
• Solve complex technical issues assigned by THD.
• Perform first visits for new equipment from competitors or KONE when requested by sales or supervisor.
• Identify technical issues that could cause call outs or safety hazards and fix them.
• Actively identify technical competence gaps for maintaining new equipment and communicate them to supervisors.
• Provide feedback on repair/adjustment needs that could reduce call outs and communicate with Technical Helpdesk Manager.
• Handle complex remote monitoring/alarm system issues assigned by THD.
• Support customer satisfaction via quality service and proactive on-site communication.
• Improve Maintenance Technicians’ competence by explaining root causes and solutions.
• Spread knowledge of Field Letters, Express Letters, and new maintenance methodologies (ASG documents).
• Provide training/coaching to Maintenance Technicians nominated by THD/Maintenance Operations manager.

What you'll need

• Experience solving complex technical issues (as assigned by THD).
• Ability to identify and fix technical issues related to call outs or safety hazards.
• Capability to troubleshoot remote monitoring/alarm system issues (assigned by THD).
• Customer communication skills for proactive and precise on-site updates.
• Knowledge-sharing and training capability for Maintenance Technicians.
• Ability to plan workload effectively with THD Manager.
