Lead Cloud Infrastructure Architect / Engineer (Azure, DevOps, Kubernetes, Terraform)

Overview

Lead Cloud Infrastructure Architect/Engineer responsible for designing, building, and operating Azure-based cloud infrastructure and automation platforms.

What you'll do

• Provide technical leadership for complex cloud infrastructure and platform initiatives across multiple teams.
• Own architecture, design, and implementation of critical Azure infrastructure components and platform capabilities.
• Define and evolve standards, patterns, and guardrails for secure, scalable, and operable cloud solutions.
• Lead cross-team technical discussions to align on design decisions and tradeoffs.
• Enable and improve self-service provisioning and developer platforms to reduce friction.
• Anticipate and mitigate systemic risks for reliability, security, scalability, and cost.

What you'll need

• 8-12 years of career experience in a similar field.
• Hands-on experience designing, building, and operating Azure-based cloud infrastructure at scale.
• Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code and automation using tools such as ARM, Bicep, Terraform, or equivalent.
• Deep knowledge of cloud security and networking concepts, including identity and access management and defense-in-depth.
• Experience designing resilient, highly available, fault-tolerant platforms and disaster recovery strategies.
• Experience leading large or complex end-to-end initiatives, including authoring/reviewing technical designs.
