Overview

Lead Data Scientist for Growth Marketing at Slack/Salesforce, defining analytics strategy and driving the quantitative engine for Slack’s global web presence.

What you'll do

• Connect top- and mid-funnel web behavior to business outcomes like enterprise ARR, pipeline velocity, and LTV.
• Lead and evolve a global web experimentation framework with statistical rigor and causal inference standards.
• Architect behavioral models and analytics, including session-stitching and propensity modeling for targeted segments.
• Design a digital measurement ecosystem across tools such as GA4, Adobe Analytics, server-side tracking, and GTM in a privacy-first approach.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering on web data pipelines and automated reporting for self-service insights.
• Coach and mentor data analysts and data scientists; potentially lead quantitative teams.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of experience in Data Science, Quantitative Analytics, or Growth Analytics.
• Deep expertise in causal inference and statistics (p-values, confidence intervals, CUPED, quasi-experiments).
• Fluency in SQL and Python or R for pathing analysis, propensity modeling, and ML/clustering.
• Proven experience with server-side tracking, GTM/GA4, and first-party data strategies in privacy-restricted environments.
• Experience building automated executive-ready dashboards (e.g., Tableau, Looker).
• Demonstrated experience guiding, mentoring, or managing data analysts and data scientists.
