Lead Engineer, AEM Front-end (India)

Overview

Lead the front-end engineering for enterprise Adobe Experience Manager (AEM Sites & Edge) implementations, including architecture, UI governance, and high-performance digital experiences.

What you'll do

• Architect and lead front-end development for enterprise AEM Sites and Edge implementations.
• Design and build scalable AEM front-end components using HTL (Sightly), React, Angular, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Define reusable UI frameworks and enterprise design system and component library standards.
• Implement and maintain brand guidelines and accessibility-aligned responsive/personalized web experiences.
• Architect AEM Client Libraries (ClientLibs) including categories, embeds, dependencies, and proxy configurations.
• Implement Content Fragments, Experience Fragments, Edge Delivery Services, and headless CMS architectures.
• Mentor teams via code reviews, architecture discussions, and UI governance.

What you'll need

• Expert-level HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript knowledge.
• Strong experience with React, Angular, or SPA architecture within AEM.
• Experience with responsive, mobile-first web design and modern CSS techniques.
• Strong experience with HTL (Sightly), Sling Models, AEM Client Libraries (ClientLibs), and AEM Core Components.
• Deep understanding of AEM Sites, Edge Delivery Services, Content Fragments, and Experience Fragments.
• Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and GraphQL APIs.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise design systems and reusable component libraries.
