Lead Engineer, Senior-PPAT

Overview

Lead Engineer, Senior-PPAT is a software engineering role focused on designing, developing, modifying, and validating embedded and cloud edge software and related applications.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and/or utility programs.
• Analyze user needs and software requirements to design and customize software for operational efficiency.
• Design and implement software modules for products and systems.
• Handle coding for large features, unit testing, debugging fixes, and integration to meet specifications and schedules.
• Perform code reviews, regression tests, and triage and fixes issues to ensure code quality.
• Collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams to achieve project objectives.

What you'll need

• Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant software engineering experience, or Master’s with 2+ years, or PhD with 1+ year.
• 2+ years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.

Nice to have

• 6+ years of software engineering (or related) experience.
• 3+ years of experience with database management software.
• 3+ years of experience with APIs.
• 1+ year of experience with Git, Perforce, or source code management systems.
