Lead / Senior Product Manager, AI Safety & Governance, PlatformAI

Overview

Lead/Senior Product Manager to spearhead the AI Safety and Governance pillar within PlatformAI for the public sector. Own a roadmap spanning developer “Safety Stack” tooling and a governance/observability layer for AI compliance.

What you'll do

• Define the long-term strategy for AI Safety-as-a-Service and automate governance from checklists.
• Translate global AI governance frameworks and local policies into platform features for developer compliance.
• Set government AI risk levels and safety benchmarks for different use cases.
• Lead automated evaluation engines covering prompt injection, PII leakage, toxicity, and hallucination.
• Integrate safety checks into CI/CD pipelines to support “Safety-by-Design”.
• Build monitoring to detect jailbreak attempts and model drift for live risk mitigation.
• Define and track KPIs for detection time and guardrail effectiveness.

What you'll need

• Proven experience managing complex technical products in security, governance, or AI/ML infrastructure.
• Deep understanding of generative AI risks including prompt injection, training data poisoning, and algorithmic bias.
• Ability to distil ethical principles into concrete technical requirements and APIs.
• Background using data-driven evaluation frameworks such as RAG evaluation, perplexity scoring, or model benchmarking.
• Deep understanding of developer workflows and commitment to making safety tools an “accelerant”.
