Lead/Staff Salesforce Engineer

Overview

Lead a team to design, develop, and optimize Tekion’s Salesforce platform with a focus on Salesforce CPQ and end-to-end CPQ implementations.

What you'll do

• Lead architecture, development, and deployment of Salesforce CPQ solutions.
• Design scalable Salesforce Sales Cloud and CPQ solutions including pricing, discount schedules, and guided selling.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions across Salesforce Sales Cloud, CPQ, and integrated ERP/billing systems.
• Manage and mentor Salesforce developers and admins.
• Drive integration strategies with ERP, billing, and third-party platforms.
• Ensure reliability, data integrity, and security compliance across Salesforce solutions.
• Drive DevOps best practices including CI/CD, testing, and change management.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of experience on the Salesforce platform.
• 3+ years of Salesforce CPQ implementation and architecture experience.
• Strong CPQ fundamentals including configuration, pricing engines, discounting, renewals, and amendments.
• Proficiency in Apex, SOQL, Lightning Components, and Flow.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP systems such as NetSuite.
• Understanding of Salesforce security, data modeling, and governor limits.
• Agile/Scrum familiarity and DevOps (CI/CD) knowledge.

Nice to have

• Experience in B2B SaaS or subscription-based business models.
• Knowledge of pricing strategies, quote-to-cash processes, and CLM tools.
• Experience with CPQ APIs or custom pricing engines.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using MuleSoft or Boomi.
