Lead Technical Engineer – Salesforce (Marketing Cloud)

Overview

Lead Technical Engineer (Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud) responsible for advancing General Mills’ Salesforce CRM marketing capabilities, including architecture, engineering delivery, and technical leadership.

What you'll do

• Partner with the Principal Technical Architect on solutioning, architecture, integration, and design.
• Drive assessments of Marketing orgs to identify modernization and optimization opportunities.
• Plan and lead end-to-end implementation of enterprise marketing, personalization, and customer data solutions on Salesforce.
• Perform hands-on Marketing Cloud engineering (configuration/customization, integrations, testing, deployment, and support).
• Collaborate with cross-functional product teams to evaluate and adopt Salesforce Marketing platform features.
• Ensure compliance with non-functional requirements and standards (including privacy, consent, and regulatory requirements).
• Mentor Salesforce Marketing Engineers through guidance and code review.

What you'll need

• 7+ years executing Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud configuration/customization.
• Experience with Salesforce APIs and custom integrations between Marketing/Data Cloud and other systems.
• Deep technical knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Engagement, Personalization, Account Engagement) and Data Cloud.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, REST/SOAP APIs, AMP script, SSJS, and data modeling.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams or technical projects.
• Self-starter with effective time management to prioritize multiple deliverables with minimal oversight.
