Machine Learning Engineer II (Agentic Ai)

Overview

General Mills is seeking an ML Engineer II (Agentic AI) to build and operationalize enterprise-scale agentic AI and AI solution pipelines.

What you'll do

• Operationalize agentic ecosystem capabilities for business problem statements.
• Lead technical enablement, integration, and continuous enhancement of agentic AI platforms.
• Design, develop, and test APIs and custom connectors/integrations for agentic AI platforms.
• Implement sophisticated strategies to orchestrate complex agent workflows.
• Collaborate on monitoring, observability, and reliability for agentic workflows.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for complex agentic platform issues.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and ensure security, privacy, and compliance adherence.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• 5-7 years of total experience.
• 1-2 years hands-on experience with Generative AI and Agentic AI technologies/platforms/frameworks.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go with strong coding best practices.
• Experience with REST, GraphQL, or gRPC API design, development, and integration.
• Knowledge of agentic AI frameworks, multi-agent orchestration, and workflow management.
• Working knowledge of MCP, RAG, vector databases, embeddings, knowledge graphs, and OAuth.

Nice to have

• Background building and supporting traditional ML pipelines in a GCP environment.
• Understanding of AI/ML lifecycle stages and MLOps concepts.
• Experience with MLOps CI/CD for AI/ML workflows, model versioning, and deployment strategies.
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and orchestration platforms.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
