Manager, AI & Data Engineering

Overview

Manage enterprise AI and data engineering capabilities on Google Cloud Platform, including platform architecture, governance, and operationalization of AI/ML solutions.

What you'll do

• Design and implement scalable AI, data, and automation platforms on GCP.
• Build and operationalize cloud-native AI/ML solutions using Vertex AI and related GCP services.
• Architect secure enterprise integration patterns across data sources, pipelines, and agent workflows.
• Develop automation workflows and agent/AgentOps governance with safety guardrails and production support.
• Define and enforce security, IAM, encryption, secrets management, audit logging, and responsible AI governance.
• Lead evaluation and adoption of enterprise AI platforms and productivity tools (good-to-have).

What you'll need

• 10-12 years of overall technology experience across relevant cloud/AI/data/automation areas.
• 4-5 years hands-on experience as an AI Engineer or AI Platforms Engineer with strong GCP exposure.
• Strong GCP technical depth including Vertex AI, BigQuery, IAM, VPC, Cloud Logging/Monitoring, Pub/Sub, and APIs.
• Strong understanding of generative AI, RAG, embeddings, vector search, evaluation, and responsible AI controls.
• Experience with MLOps, LLMOps, and AgentOps including deployment, CI/CD, versioning, monitoring, and incident response.
• Advanced proficiency in Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, APIs, and infrastructure automation.
