Manager AI Engineering

Overview

Lead a team delivering next-generation generative AI and ML systems for the Operational Intelligence Program within Mastercard’s Business & Market Insights group.

What you'll do

• Architect and lead multi-agent AI systems using LangGraph, CrewAI, and AutoGen.
• Design and operationalize multimodal generative AI pipelines across text, image, tabular, and graph data.
• Build production-grade RAG and Graph-RAG systems with vector databases and knowledge graphs.
• Lead LLM fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and model alignment including RLHF and LoRA.
• Establish LLMOps and MLOps pipelines on Databricks using MLflow and model lineage tracking.
• Develop Python backend services for LLM inference orchestration, async handling, and streaming responses.
• Implement Responsible AI and AI governance with safety guardrails and bias/hallucination mitigation.

What you'll need

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, or Engineering.
• Significant hands-on experience leading and delivering Gen AI or ML programs in production environments.
• Expert experience designing, building, and deploying LLM applications, agentic systems, and RAG pipelines from prototype to production.
• Proficiency with LLM ecosystems including OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Hugging Face, and LangChain/LangGraph.
• Strong Gen AI engineering skills such as prompt engineering, tool/function calling, and semantic search.
• Excellent Python engineering skills including async programming, FastAPI, and SQL proficiency.
