Mechanical Engineer Associate

Overview

Mechanical Engineer Associate creating technical documentation for pumps, including IOM, service/operational manuals, and assembly and disassembly procedures.

What you'll do

• Create service and operational manuals for Flowserve-SIHI pumps and systems.
• Gather and review relevant inputs to understand scope of work and complete assignments.
• Produce technical documents following business unit standards and procedures.
• Perform document self-checking and peer-checking to ensure submission quality.
• Deliver documents that meet assignment deliverables with on-time delivery and quality.
• Update stakeholders on assignment status and support documentation control and computer filing.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with 4+ years or Diploma with 5+ years of technical writing experience in pump or related mechanical industry.
• Excellent ability to read and understand engineering drawings, technical documents, and reports.
• Ability to understand mechanical product/system assembly and disassembly procedures with user safety in mind.
• Hands-on pump assembly, repair, and servicing experience is required (as an added advantage).
• Strong technical writing skills and delivery of high-quality outputs.
• Experience using Windows and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge/skills in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop (Adobe Creative Cloud) and use of a CMS and an authoring tool (e.g., MS Word or Adobe FrameMaker depending on requirements).

• Basic German language is an added advantage.
