What you'll do
- Define reusable motion language covering timing, easing, entrances, transitions, monogram behavior, and gradient movement.
- Create films from concept/board through animation, editing, sound, and delivery.
- Build motion for product and web, including animation, scroll behavior, UI micro-interactions, and walkthrough videos.
- Prepare deliverables for engineering using tools/specs engineers can implement (e.g., Lottie, Rive, sprite sequences).
- Visualize speech for conversational products across listening, thinking, speaking, and code-switching segments.
- Use AI in the pipeline for tasks like generative video, boards/previz, roto, upscaling, and variations.
What you'll need
- 3+ years of motion design experience with a reel showing narrative work and shipped product/website work.
- Deep After Effects skills including shape layers, expressions, and proper rigging (not template-based work).
- Editing skills in Premiere or Resolve.
- Figma proficiency as a non-negotiable requirement.
- Working-depth Illustrator and Photoshop for building and cleaning assets.
- Fundamentals focus on timing, weight, staging, anticipation, and type behavior with attention to easing curves.
- Native fluency with AI tools in a professional motion workflow and a personal point of view.
- System thinking showing extension from static identity to motion systems.
Nice to have
- 3D skills in Blender or Cinema 4D for abstract systems, geometry, and product visualization.
- Real-time or code-based motion experience with tools like Rive, three.js, GLSL, TouchDesigner, or Houdini.
- Sound design and mix instincts, including audio driving picture.
- Animating Indian scripts (Devanagari, Tamil, or Kannada) without breaking letterforms.
