Network Engineer

Overview

Network Engineer for the Network Security team, helping run, scale, and continuously improve network security infrastructure through hands-on operations, design, and implementation.

What you'll do

• Run hands-on operations for network security infrastructure.
• Design and implement security perimeter and adjacent network infrastructure.
• Manage and evolve network segmentation and DMZ components.
• Resolve issues and plan and execute deployments.
• Evaluate and lab test new security platforms.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity on threat detection and mitigation.
• Improve network observability, automation/scripting, and security processes and documentation.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of experience operating and deploying network infrastructure.
• Experience with routing and network protocols including OSPF, BGP, and PIM-SM.
• Troubleshooting experience with transport protocols (TCP/UDP).
• Understanding of firewall hardware architecture, performance metrics, and functional components.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting firewalls.
• Understanding of Public Key Infrastructure and related technologies.
• Understanding of modern encryption techniques.
