Overview

Own global purchasing activities for the Infrastructure category in EMEA, with focus on intralogistics, CAPEX projects, and related services.

What you'll do

• Oversee end-to-end global category purchasing, including supplier selection, negotiations, and contracting.
• Prepare, execute, and finalize international negotiations focused on value creation (e.g., TCO).
• Drive cost optimization through bundling effects, make-or-buy decisions, and value engineering initiatives.
• Manage supplier performance, claims, and escalations with strategic relevance.
• Own the contract lifecycle and ensure compliance with internal policies and guidelines.
• Translate category strategies into actions, KPIs, and measurable results.
• Use data analytics and digital procurement tools to improve efficiency and decision-making.

What you'll need

• University degree (Bachelor/Master/Diploma) or comparable qualification.
• Several years of relevant professional experience in purchasing, supply chain, or a similar function.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with SAP (R/3 or S/4) is preferred.
• Excellent English and German skills (written and verbal).
• Structured, independent, and results-oriented working style.
• MS Office experience is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience in CAPEX procurement, project-based sourcing, or technical purchasing.
• Additional language skills.
