Overview

Own global purchasing for the Infrastructure category across EMEA, focused on intralogistics, CAPEX projects, and related services.

What you'll do

• Lead end-to-end global category purchasing, including supplier selection, negotiations, and contracting.
• Prepare, execute, and finalize international negotiations with value creation focus (e.g., TCO).
• Drive cost optimization through bundling effects, make-or-buy decisions, and value engineering.
• Manage supplier performance, claims, and escalations.
• Own the contract lifecycle to ensure compliance with internal policies and guidelines.
• Translate category strategies into actions, KPIs, and measurable results.
• Use data analytics and digital procurement tools to improve efficiency and decision-making.

What you'll need

• University degree (Bachelor/Master/Diploma) or comparable qualification.
• Several years of relevant professional experience in purchasing, supply chain, or similar functions.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in CAPEX procurement, project-based sourcing, or technical purchasing (advantage).
• Experience with SAP (R/3 or S/4) and MS Office (preferred).
• Excellent English and German skills (written and verbal).
