Payment Operations Manager

Overview

Payment Operations Manager for Neon’s gaming-focused Merchant of Record platform, owning dispute/chargeback, fraud operations, compliance monitoring, and payment performance tracking across multiple PSPs and markets.

What you'll do

• Manage dispute intake, evidence compilation, and resolution across payment processors and markets.
• Define dispute resolution SLAs and win-rate targets and drive fixes with product and risk leads.
• Own fraud operations, including investigations and transaction reviews in partnership with the Risk, Fraud & Compliance Product Leader.
• Track payments performance metrics such as authorization and payment success rates, decline codes, and fraud losses.
• Provide senior operational support for Customer Success escalations related to payments.
• Lead operational response to payment incidents, including root-cause investigation and remediation communication.
• Own day-to-day operational relationships with PSPs and payment partners, including performance reviews and escalations.

What you'll need

• 6–8+ years in payments operations, fraud ops, or fintech risk, with ownership of a function or operational initiatives.
• Experience running dispute and chargeback mechanics end to end, including card network-level understanding (Visa/Mastercard rules).
• Comfort operating across multiple payment processors simultaneously with global PSP exposure.
• Ability to influence product, engineering, and Customer Success without formal authority.
• Strong analytical capability using dashboards/data tools to produce structured reports.
• Business-level written and verbal English proficiency.
