Portfolio Presales Engineer

Overview

Portfolio Presales Engineer (PSE) who leads the functional and technical sales process, delivering solution-focused discovery, requirements gathering, validation, and demonstrations across the company’s portfolio.

What you'll do

• Deliver customer-aligned demonstrations for the assigned portfolio.
• Identify functional and technical challenges for assigned accounts.
• Manage and interpret customer requirements using questioning to understand needs.
• Educate clients on how the solution fits needs related to ease of use, quality, benefits, and value.
• Lead technical aspects of the sales process.
• Assist with defining and executing proof of concepts (POCs) where appropriate.
• Respond to RFIs/RFPs for functional and technical elements.

What you'll need

• Proven track record in software sales.
• Strong technical background with experience in solution selling.
• Exceptional presentation and demo capabilities.
• Experience customizing and building the storyboard for demos and POCs.
• Ability to articulate solution value to business and technical users.
• Ability to manage multiple, complex sales opportunities simultaneously.
• Ability to communicate from C-level executives down to agent/front line level employees.
