Principal Sales Engineer - Healthcare

Overview

Serve as the senior technical authority for healthcare-focused enterprise cybersecurity sales. Lead complex technical sales engagements, advise executives, mentor sales engineers, and influence product direction.

What you'll do

• Lead complex sales engagements and Proof of Values from inception through completion.
• Resolve technical objections and propose transformative security architectures.
• Conduct technical and business transformation discussions with C-level executives.
• Develop reference architectures, white papers, and blogs.
• Represent the company at industry and healthcare events.
• Mentor sales engineers and coordinate specialized technical training.
• Lead technical advisory teams and internal enablement initiatives.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of enterprise cybersecurity selling experience in sales, solutions engineering, or solutions architecture.
• 3+ years of experience working with partners and channels.
• Experience advising customers on AI change management and agentic AI workflows.
• Deep knowledge of security, networking, authentication, wireless, SD-WAN, and Internet fundamentals.
• Experience leading cross-departmental initiatives and executive relationships.
• Foundational AI/ML knowledge and experience with AI-driven solutions.

Nice to have

• Experience with data modeling and relational databases.
• Expertise with healthcare EHR, PACS, and workflow or authentication technologies.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CCIE, CISM, ISACA, or CRISC.
• 5+ years in a vendor-side Principal- or Architect-level role.

Details

• Remote position in the United States.
• Base salary: $195,000–$243,750 USD yearly.
