Product Manager - Insect Control

Overview

Manage and execute the CU direction for insecticide/fungicide products in line with territory crop and indication strategies, supporting profitable market share growth.

What you'll do

• Set and implement CU direction for fungicide/insecticide products.
• Co-develop PPD, PLCM, and brand planning with territory asset leaders.
• Lead brand planning, post-patent-defense, product lifecycle management, and value/portfolio pricing.
• Build and monitor a 5-year CU portfolio plan for profitable market share growth.
• Own operational marketing aspects for the CU (e.g., SOP, pricing, SPP, HPC).
• Develop market intelligence and translate customer insight into brand strategies and marketing plans.
• Coordinate NPI excellence and lead an NPI team/overall process where relevant.

What you'll need

• Minimum 7–10 years’ work experience in agricultural chemicals in commercial or technical roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of customers and channels in-country.
• Ability to understand market dynamics and the competitive environment in CU insecticide markets and convert it into strategy.
• Capability to design product lifecycle management strategy and brand strategy.
• Proficiency in applying MaSE pillars and creating distinctive brand/value propositions.
• Good command of English, plus influencing, negotiation, and communication/presentation skills.
