Product Manager - Merchant Experience

Overview

Own the discovery, definition, and delivery of Xplor’s self-serve merchant portal, covering strategy, reporting, account self-service, configuration, and adoption across global markets.

What you'll do

• Own and evolve the portal strategy and roadmap across global markets.
• Define merchant-facing transaction, payout, and reporting surfaces and self-serve statements.
• Make fees and deductions transparent and ensure displayed amounts reconcile with underlying data.
• Deliver merchant self-service for account details, users, permissions, and settings without support contact.
• Own the merchant configuration portal capabilities used for BMS setup and maintenance.
• Embed AI into the product lifecycle, including synthesis, prototyping, analytics summaries, and prompting workflows.
• Drive agile delivery with PRDs/user stories/acceptance criteria and track product health metrics.

What you'll need

• 3–4 years of product management experience.
• At least 2 years building B2B SaaS, dashboard, portal, or self-serve products.
• Strong product craft: discovery, design partnership, and shipping intuitive self-serve experiences.
• Experience presenting complex/financial data to non-technical users.
• Comfort using product analytics to understand behavior and measure impact.
• Payments literacy to represent transactions, payouts, and fees accurately (or ability to ramp quickly).
• Hands-on proficiency with AI productivity tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or equivalent) with demonstrable examples.
