Product Marketing Operations Manager, Research

Overview

Product Marketing Operations Manager, Research will build and run the launch operating system behind Anthropic’s model releases, treating launch execution as a product.

What you'll do

• Own the model launch calendar and sequencing across a broad portfolio of releases.
• Create the plan of record for each launch, including deliverables, owners, dependencies, and deadlines.
• Coordinate the launch-material review path with legal, policy, research, and communications so reviews align to dates.
• Drive decisions and alignment across senior cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
• Execute launch-day operations including sequencing, timing, access, and operational readiness.
• Develop and improve launch processes, playbooks, and operational frameworks that scale beyond one launch.
• Run launch retrospectives and recurring product communications; create launch materials when volume requires.

What you'll need

• Have owned launch or release operations end to end and been accountable for on-time launches.
• Have built or substantially improved a launch or release process.
• Have experience across product marketing, product operations, technical program management, and/or launch production.
• Be able to drive decisions across senior stakeholders without direct authority.
• Have a technical background and be able to communicate complex AI concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Write clearly and produce launch-ready material.
• Work effectively when priorities and timelines shift while keeping a complex plan coherent.

Details

• Policy expects work from the San Francisco or New York office at least 2 days a week.
• Hybrid expectation: staff are expected to be in one of the offices at least 25% of the time.
• Visa sponsorship is supported, with reasonable efforts for offered candidates.
