Production Technician 1

Overview

Production Technician 1 supports plant operations through site upkeep, equipment assistance, forklift operations, and quality/safety compliance.

What you'll do

• Perform general site upkeep including maintenance, housekeeping, and stocking.
• Operate forklifts to support plant operations.
• Assist with operating equipment and systems per site-specific activities.
• Support quality control and ensure adherence.
• Alert senior technicians and leadership when non-conformities or process variance occur.
• Maintain compliance with site HSE protocols and Syngenta HSE policies.
• Conduct inspections to help ensure product quality.

What you'll need

• Hold a High School Diploma or GED.
• Have 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Be able to work multiple shifts.
• Obtain forklift certification within 90 days.
• Be able to perform manual labor including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Be able to lift, push, pull up to 70 pounds.
• Have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office for record-keeping of production documents.
