Production Technician

Overview

Operate production equipment and support systems while maintaining quality, safety, and accurate production records. May also assist with certain field activities and process order tracking.

What you'll do

• Operate equipment and systems according to site-specific activities.
• Drive forklifts, operate pallet wraps, and support conditioning, packaging, and treating systems.
• Support field activities such as planting, field observations, and harvest data collection.
• Assist with process order tracking, administrative procedures, and maintenance orders using data systems.
• Maintain current metrics and information on visual boards/data dashboards to support teamwork and decisions.
• Alert senior technicians and leadership when non-conformities or variance occur.

What you'll need

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work multiple shifts.
• Ability to perform manual labor tasks including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 70 pounds.
• Accurate record-keeping of production documents.
• Knowledge of safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
