Project Planner

Overview

The Project Planner develops, monitors, and controls project schedules for large-scale hotel, resort, and hospitality construction projects.

What you'll do

• Develop, maintain, and monitor integrated project schedules from design through handover.
• Create project plans, WBS, resource-loaded schedules, and critical path analyses.
• Track progress vs. baseline schedules, identify delays/risks, and recommend recovery and mitigation plans.
• Prepare periodic progress reports, dashboards, earned value analysis, and executive presentations.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, architects, contractors, and stakeholders on milestones and deliverables.
• Review contractor schedules, evaluate extension of time (EOT) claims, and monitor contractual timeline compliance.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in project planning and scheduling for hotel/resort/hospitality construction projects.
• Expertise in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project and project scheduling techniques.
• Proficiency in critical path methodology (CPM).
• Experience managing complex hospitality development projects from concept/design through construction and commissioning.
• Knowledge of construction contracts, claims management, risk assessment, and project control best practices.
