QA Engineer

Overview

QA Engineer (remote, India) for SupplyHouse.com’s IT team, reporting to the QA Team Lead and working with cross-functional partners to ensure software quality through automated web and mobile testing.

What you'll do

• Develop, verify, and validate system test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Create and execute test plans and set up test environments.
• Execute test scripts for database execution.
• Validate end-to-end functionality and enhancement requests.
• Resolve technical and business issues using analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
• Collaborate with leadership to implement effective testing solutions.
• Partner with Developers, Project Managers, and UX Designers to maximize customer experience.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 3+ years of QA engineering experience, or no degree with 6+ years equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of programming experience in Java, JavaScript, and SQL.
• 2+ years of web automation experience using page object modeling (POM) including Cypress proficiency.
• Experience in API testing (automated and manual) for web, backend, and mobile using REST/RestAssured and microservices.
• Familiarity with test automation tools such as MySQL, Postman, and Eclipse IDE.
• High-level written and verbal communication proficiency in English.

Nice to have

• Experience working in an e-commerce environment.
• 2+ years of mobile automation experience using Appium.
• Additional experience using WebDriver IO + Mocha + Chai.
• Web automation experience with Selenium and Cucumber.
• Experience using AI platforms to increase productivity (e.g., Claude, Copilot, ChatGPT).

• Location: Remote from India.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 4:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time / 12:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. IST.
