Regulated and Stewardship Specialist

Overview

Regulated and Stewardship Specialist overseeing quality and stewardship activities for nursery seed production and trialing teams in North America to ensure compliant handling of regulated and stewarded materials and QA for pipeline delivery.

What you'll do

• Oversee quality systems including training, document management, audits, risk analysis, and incident response.
• Lead MoC (Management of Change) for regulated/stewarded process changes.
• Coordinate QA (Quality Assurance) methods implementation in NA Nurseries.
• Lead investigations and RCA (Root Cause Analysis) for regulatory, stewardship, and quality problems.
• Run Level 2 Regulated & Stewardship Audits and Level 1 assessments annually.
• Support compliance for regulated seed shipments and APHIS/NSVBM process review.

What you'll need

• Have a Bachelor's degree in agriculture, biology, or a related field or 5+ years’ experience in agricultural operations.
• Have clear understanding of Quality Management and Stewardship guidelines for nursery seed production.
• Have knowledge of Regulated/Stewarded compliance guidelines.
• Have knowledge of Quality Management and Stewardship methods and systems and Reliance tool.
• Maintain USDA inspection readiness.
• Be able to work in the US.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Regulated/Stewarded Field Trials and RegOne tool.
• Experience working with Regulated and Stewarded materials and strong interaction with Regulatory team.
