Regulated and Stewardship Specialist

Overview

The Regulated and Stewardship Specialist oversees regulated and stewardship quality activities for nursery seed production and trialing teams in North America, ensuring compliant handling of stewarded and regulated materials.

What you'll do

• Manage quality systems including training, document management, audits, risk analysis, and incident response.
• Lead MoC (Management of Change) for regulated/stewarded process changes.
• Coordinate QA methods implementation in NA Nurseries.
• Lead investigations and RCA (Root Cause Analysis) for regulatory, stewardship, and quality problems.
• Run yearly Level 2 Regulated & Stewardship Audits and Level 1 assessments.
• Support regulated seed shipments to meet compliance requirements.

What you'll need

• Have a Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, biology, or a related field, or 5+ years’ experience in agricultural operations.
• Demonstrate a clear understanding of Quality Management and Stewardship guidelines for nursery seed production.
• Possess knowledge of Regulated/Stewarded compliance guidelines.
• Know Quality Management and Stewardship methods and systems and the Reliance tool (QMS).
• Be eligible to work in the US.
• Maintain a continuous improvement mindset and collaborate cross-functionally.
