Sales Trainee

Overview

Sales Trainee (ST) is a training role that can lead to interviews for Account Sales Manager (ASM) roles after successful program completion and certification.

What you'll do

• Learn the basics of the brand, products, and Red Bull Distribution Company.
• Build and protect the Red Bull brand by ensuring proper product rotation and brand flow.
• Set up friendly, professional customer relationships to increase sales.
• Obtain required tools (insights, displays, Point of Sale, pricing) to execute the daily plan.
• Communicate daily priorities with ASMs/DSMs and train with ASMs in route support.
• Support in-store execution and meet daily KPIs for sales, distribution, pricing, displays, new accounts, and merchandising.

What you'll need

• Valid US Driver’s License.
• Obtainment of DOT Medical card.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Experience in customer service and sales is a plus.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 25 pounds of inventory and/or advertising displays.
• English language; additional languages are an advantage.

Details

• At-will position where employment can be terminated at any time by either the Company or the ST.
• Eligible to interview for open ASM roles after successful training and certification.
• May remain in the ST role up to 12 months or until an ASM/qualified role is available (whichever comes first).
• If no promotion occurs before the 12-month period ends, the ST role will be vacated unless an exception applies; an additional 6-month extension may be granted for continued high performance.
