Senior Applied Value Engineer - UKI Energy, Oil & Gas

Overview

Senior Applied Value Engineer focused on solving mission-critical customer problems using Celonis Process Intelligence and AI.

What you'll do

• Understand customers’ AI strategy and business-critical challenges.
• Prototype solutions and build creative AI prototypes in customer hackathons.
• Support agentic process transformation to achieve ROI from AI deployments at scale.
• Execute end-to-end Proof-of-Value projects, including LLM/agent architecture with RAG, tools, and guardrails.
• Drive successful implementation, adoption, and value realization until agreed thresholds are reached.
• Specialize in domains/industries (e.g., supply chain) to scale internal knowledge.

What you'll need

• 6+ years of experience leading technical pre-sales.
• Experience defining AI roadmaps, building ROI/TCO business cases, and prototyping machine learning and generative AI solutions.
• Knowledge of generative AI techniques including RAG, few-shot learning, prompt engineering, multi-agent orchestration, multimodal understanding, or fine-tuning.
• Understanding of business processes across sectors such as supply chain or finance.
• Good knowledge of Python and common ML libraries including LangChain, pandas, pydantic, sklearn, and PyTorch.
• Strong presentation skills for internal and external stakeholders, including executives.
• Bachelor’s degree required (Masters preferred in related fields).
