Senior Associate – AI/ML Engineer, Advisory

Overview

Senior Associate AI/ML Engineer in PwC's Advisory line of service (Data, Analytics & AI specialism), building and leading AI/ML initiatives, including LLM-based solutions, for clients.

What you'll do

• Shape and lead AI/ML initiatives within the organization.
• Develop LLM-based solutions such as chatbots, recommendation systems and translation services, and optimize LLMs for performance and security.
• Create LLD for the provided architecture.
• Build and deploy ML workloads within microservices-based architecture, using containerization and model serving tools.
• Manage vector databases and implement RAG systems and semantic search.
• Implement automated model retraining and MLOps practices for deployment and monitoring.
• Apply A/B testing, experimental design and statistical hypothesis testing.

What you'll need

• Bachelor of Engineering (B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA / MBA listed under education qualification).
• At least 4+ years of total and relevant experience in AI/ML or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Python.
• Extensive experience with LLM frameworks (Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain) and prompt engineering techniques.
• Experience with big data processing using Spark.
• Version control and experiment tracking using Git and MLflow.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation), CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins), and container orchestration (Kubernetes) with Helm and service mesh.
• Proficiency in LLM serving platforms such as vLLM and FastAPI, model quantization techniques, and vector database management.
• Experience with model serving tools such as TorchServe or TF Serving.
• Strong grasp of advanced cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and network security for ML systems.
• Experience working in microservices-based architecture.
• Deep understanding of the ML and LLM development lifecycle, including fine-tuning and evaluation.
• Expertise in feature engineering, embedding optimization, and dimensionality reduction.
• Advanced knowledge of A/B testing, experimental design, and statistical hypothesis testing.
• Experience with RAG systems, vector databases, and semantic search implementation.
• Proficiency in LLM optimization techniques including quantization and knowledge distillation.
• Understanding of MLOps practices for model deployment and monitoring.
• Agentic AI listed as a required skill.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Go or Rust.
• Prior experience in industries leveraging AI/ML technologies.
