Senior BI & AI Engineer

Overview

Senior BI & AI Engineer (individual contributor) for Thomson Reuters’ Portfolio Management team in India.

What you'll do

• Design and maintain complex Power BI reports and dashboards for portfolio performance and financial planning.
• Build and manage Power BI Dataflows and semantic models on top of Snowflake.
• Write advanced DAX including calculation groups, time intelligence, dynamic measures, and row-level security.
• Query, transform, and model data in Snowflake for BI and AI layers.
• Develop LLM-powered workflows using Claude (Anthropic API) and Claude Code for conversational portfolio data and automated insights.
• Automate reporting processes using Python pipelines, SQL/Python, and Power Automate flows.

What you'll need

• 8–10 years of experience in BI engineering, data engineering, or analytics engineering.
• At least 3 years of hands-on Power BI development including Dataflows and semantic models.
• At least 1–2 years of applied LLM/AI workflow development in a professional context.
• Advanced experience with Snowflake including schema design, complex SQL, data modeling, and performance tuning.
• Python skills for data engineering scripts, Pandas, and REST API calls.
• Experience shipping AI workflows using Claude and tools such as LangChain or LlamaIndex.
• Power Automate experience with Microsoft 365 and SharePoint integrations.

• Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
• Work model: hybrid; 2–3 days per week in the office depending on the role.
