Senior Data Analyst

Overview

Senior Data Analyst for Zynga’s data science and analytics team, using large-scale data to model and predict user behavior and to deliver insights that improve games.

What you'll do

• Identify and formalize problems to understand user behavior.
• Create systems and analyses to derive insights that change the studio’s viewpoint.
• Work with large datasets to find opportunities to improve player experience.
• Deliver analytics and data science projects aligned to the roadmap and product goals.
• Maintain source-of-truth data sources and dashboards to enable quantitatively informed, evidence-based decisions.
• Design, test, verify, and implement machine learning models and product features with game teams.
• Communicate findings to technical and non-technical peers.

What you'll need

• BS in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Economics, or another quantitative field (Masters, MBA, or PhD preferred).
• 5+ years of work experience in data science or analytics roles.
• Fluency in SQL.
• Solid programming experience in Python.
• Adept in at least one visualization tool such as Tableau or QlikView.
• Demonstrable experience with statistics, experimental design, machine learning, and deep learning.
• Experience analyzing large datasets, preferably in Hadoop or Spark, and deploying production-ready systems at scale.
