Senior Data Engineer Consultant

Overview

Senior Data Engineer Consultant to lead client data engineering engagements, co-design solutions, and ensure delivery from strategy through execution.

What you'll do

• Lead client engagements and guide project delivery.
• Design data engineering solutions by collaborating closely with clients.
• Build scalable data pipelines and data architectures for large structured and unstructured data.
• Design and implement cloud and distributed data solutions (e.g., AWS/Azure/GCP, Spark, Kafka).
• Develop data models and optimize database solutions across relational, NoSQL, time-series, and graph databases.
• Implement batch, streaming, and real-time data integration and loading patterns.
• Enable CI/CD and DataOps practices for data services and infrastructure.

What you'll need

• 3-6 years of relevant professional experience (or equivalent academic research).
• Analytical, structured, and proactive approach.
• Ability to clearly articulate complex technical ideas to varied audiences.
• Experience managing stakeholders and guiding teams through delivery.
• Completed WO Master’s degree in a related technical field involving substantial programming.
• Fluency in English with excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Dutch or French fluency (must).

Details

• May work with Databricks, Snowflake, and Azure depending on the client.
• Flexible working arrangements include office, home, and client sites.
• Unable to provide a work permit for this position.
