Senior Devops Engineer

Overview

Senior DevOps Engineer accountable for the design, implementation, maintenance and support of DevOps pipelines and tooling/automation at a Feature/Lab team level.

What you'll do

• Design, implement, maintain and support DevOps pipelines and tooling/automation at a Feature/Lab team level.
• Recommend the right pipeline and tooling choices appropriate for Feature/Lab accountabilities, in line with Group Strategy.
• Identify shortcomings and suggest improvements to existing processes, systems and procedures, and deliver a plan for a small element of a change management programme with guidance from a project/programme manager.
• Highlight shortcomings and suggest improvements in current IT Security processes, systems and procedures within assigned unit and/or discipline.
• Manage others, set short term objectives and help manage the performance of direct reports within performance management systems.
• Provide specialised training or coaching in area of expertise to others throughout the organisation.
• Explore issues and/or needs to establish potential causes, related issues and barriers.
• Define, deliver and adapt specialised products/services to meet customer needs by selecting the best possible approaches available within established systems.
• Deliver prescribed outcomes for a designated area, using risk management systems to ensure the organisation is not exposed to undue risks.
• Take responsibility for delivering a prescribed budget for own area of the organisation and/or conduct complex analyses on budget progress in other areas.

What you'll need

• 9+ years of experience.
