Senior DevOps Engineer

Overview

Senior DevOps Engineer supporting on-premises JADE Master Terminal environments and Azure-hosted infrastructure. The role combines customer environment support, infrastructure automation, CI/CD, Kubernetes operations, security, monitoring, and disaster recovery.

What you'll do

• Own and evolve the Jade Git and GitHub Actions workflow for schema and class changes.
• Build and maintain Terraform infrastructure through Spacelift on Azure.
• Operate AKS clusters for Dev/QA, production, and hosted MTN environments.
• Advise customers on JADE installation, IIS, certificates, releases, patches, and migrations.
• Design and test backup, restore, and disaster-recovery procedures.
• Maintain security, compliance, observability, and alerting tooling.
• Collaborate on releases, production troubleshooting, runbooks, and operational knowledge sharing.

What you'll need

• 4–6 years of DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering experience.
• Windows Server administration experience with IIS, Windows services, and certificates.
• CI/CD pipeline experience with GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps Pipelines.
• Terraform and GitOps tooling experience, including Spacelift or Argo CD.
• Kubernetes, AKS, Docker, and Azure experience.
• Production backup, restore, disaster recovery, and full-stack troubleshooting experience.
• Fluent English and willingness to work occasional off-hours.

Nice to have

• Direct JADE experience or ability to learn a proprietary object-database platform.
• Familiarity with BlackDuck, Wiz, Burp Suite, Sumo Logic, PagerDuty, or OTEL tooling.
• OpenVPN CloudConnexa or similar VPN experience.
• Exposure to Jellyfish, DORA, and Jira-driven Agile planning.
