Senior Engineer (Level 1)

Overview

Senior Engineer (Level 1) role focused on Android framework development, including vendor services, system porting and embedded platform work.

What you'll need

• Must have knowledge of the Android framework, Android System-Vendor services, JNI, AIDL and SE-policy rules in the Android framework.
• Must have knowledge of the AOSP build system and AOSP workflow.
• Must have knowledge of Android HIDL for vendor-specific modules such as cameras, Wi-Fi, BT, GPS, 9-axis sensors and battery.
• Strong knowledge of Android porting on various embedded platforms and devices.
• Experience working with embedded platforms with processors from Qualcomm, TI, NXP, NVIDIA, Intel or similar.
• Must have programming skills in C++, Java/Kotlin and shell scripting.
• Experience with development tools such as Git, SVN, JIRA and Android Studio.
• Strong sense of ownership, passion, fast learning, analytical mindset and a perfection-seeking attitude.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
