Senior Fullstack Engineer - Grafana Data Source Plugins | NASA | (Remote, USA)

Overview

Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer in the Grafana Data Source Plugins squad, leading development and enhancement of data source plugins that retrieve the data powering Grafana dashboards, and ensuring their reliability in Grafana Cloud.

What you'll do

• Build or improve Grafana plugins to integrate third-party services or databases into Grafana.
• Support the operations and reliability of plugins in Grafana Cloud.
• Suggest process improvements.
• Integrate data sources with agentic workflows such as Grafana Assistant.
• Provide technical support in customer escalations.
• Work closely with the rest of the Grafana Division.

What you'll need

• Solid experience with Golang and TypeScript.
• Experience with Kubernetes and microservices.
• Experience writing clean, robust, and performant software that is easily maintained by others.
• Experience participating in an on-call rotation and performing operations/SRE tasks.

Nice to have

• Have been a user of Grafana and Grafana Data Sources.
• Have expertise in one of the underlying databases the team supports.
• Have strong experience working with a Product Manager or external stakeholders.

Details

• Remote, United States. Candidates based in the US or Canada are considered; residents of Quebec are not eligible.
• Base compensation range in the United States: USD $154,445 - $185,334, varying by level, experience, and skillset.
• Benefits include equity, bonus (if applicable), and other benefits.
