Senior Model-Based Design (MBD) Engineer – ECT3

Overview

Senior Model-Based Design (MBD) Engineer responsible for building Simulink/Stateflow models, implementing control logic, and leading model-based testing with high coverage.

What you'll do

• Translate high-level requirements into structured Simulink models using MAAB guidelines.
• Design and implement complex control logic using Stateflow and Simulink.
• Develop custom MATLAB M-scripts and tools to automate modeling, data analysis, and report generation.
• Lead model-based testing (MBT), including test sequence creation and achieving 100% MC/DC coverage.
• Act as a technical subject matter expert in international forums and present architectural decisions.
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to support model integration and deployment.

What you'll need

• Expert-level proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow.
• Proven experience with Simulink Test Manager and Simulink Coverage.
• Knowledge of MATLAB M-scripting and object-oriented programming (OOP).
• Experience with Embedded C, Python, and micro-controller hardware architectures.
• Electronics engineering background (BE/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech) is required.
• 7 to 10 years of experience is required.

Nice to have

• Understanding of thermodynamics (HVAC) and physical system modeling.
