Senior Operator

Overview

The Senior Operator ensures timely daily production execution while meeting safety, housekeeping, quality, and rate objectives and supporting continuous improvement.

What you'll do

• Follow safety, site security, and environmental policies.
• Maintain clean, orderly work areas and meet housekeeping objectives.
• Run production processes per quality guidelines and report process variations.
• Execute production batch making, packaging, product set-ups, changeovers, and related activities.
• Confirm SAP orders accurately and help with SAP-related processes as directed.
• Operate and maintain equipment and support preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Guide, assist, and train new and temporary employees; support continuous improvement activities.

What you'll need

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Demonstrated batch making competency in one or more Sika manufacturing processes.
• Approximately 1 year experience as a Sika Operator or extensive manufacturing experience in a similar industry.
• Read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
• Good math skills, including fractions, decimals, and percentages.
• Ability to develop process expertise for troubleshooting.
• Ability to operate a forklift and other equipment as trained.
