Overview
Senior Partner Manager role focused on developing and expanding ShipBob's partner ecosystem in Australia, with a remit to support future APAC expansion.
What you'll do
- Identify, engage, and build relationships with agencies that support direct-to-consumer ecommerce brands in the AU, including marketing, design, development, systems integrators, and other service providers.
- Work closely with regional contacts at strategic technology partners, including Klaviyo, Shopify Plus, Gorgias, ShipStation, and others, to drive co-marketing initiatives, partner enablement, and shared deal flow.
- Maintain and deepen relationships with current partners through regular touchpoints, ongoing education, quarterly business reviews, incentive programs, revenue share conversations, and additional engagement activities.
- Drive significant annual revenue through partner-influenced and partner-sourced pipeline via co-marketing campaigns, co-selling motions, and broader business development strategies.
- Represent the voice of AU partners internally across Product, Sales, Account Management, Marketing, and Onboarding, ensuring partner needs and feedback are communicated and prioritized.
- Manage and maintain partner infrastructure and operational tracking, including the Partner Directory, Salesforce partner records and lead generation workflows, and partner pages on ShipBob.com.
- Represent ShipBob at industry and partner events, acting as a brand ambassador at partner-focused events, conferences, and trade shows across the region.
- Own project-based initiatives typically spanning 1–2 quarters, such as launching a co-marketing program with a strategic partner or standing up a new integration or referral workflow.
- Perform other duties as needed to contribute to the success of the Partnerships team and the broader organization.
What you'll need
- Deep understanding of the AU ecommerce ecosystem, including familiarity with the AU direct-to-consumer ecommerce landscape, agencies, tech platforms, and service providers.
- Technical aptitude and integration awareness: comfort navigating how integrations, APIs, and ecommerce technology ecosystems work, and the ability to speak confidently with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven business development maturity: experience owning and managing high-value partnerships, negotiating agreements, structuring revenue-driving initiatives, and influencing stakeholders to achieve shared outcomes.
- Entrepreneurial, self-starter mindset: thrives in a fast-moving environment, builds strategies from scratch, makes decisions with imperfect information, and proactively identifies new growth opportunities.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and attention to detail across multiple initiatives, contracts, and partner conversations.
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves and collaborate directly with partners, merchants, and cross-functional teams to diagnose challenges and drive solutions.
- Ability to prioritize and scale yourself through high-leverage activities, delegation, and automation, driving results through others as well as individual execution.
