Overview
Build and operate reliable CI/CD and release processes for Salesforce within a global Salesforce Sales & Service implementation.
What you'll do
- Drive the DevOps and release strategy for a global Salesforce Sales & Service implementation.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps/Git and SFDX/sf CLI.
- Define environment and branching strategy, release governance, approvals, and rollback/hotfix procedures.
- Troubleshoot deployment issues including metadata dependencies, test failures, and permissions.
- Enforce DevOps standards such as PR policies, deployment best practices, secrets management, and auditability.
- Continuously improve deployment speed and stability.
What you'll need
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps / Release Engineering.
- Proven hands-on experience building and running Salesforce CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/Git, SFDX/sf CLI).
- Strong understanding of Salesforce deployment concepts including metadata, environments/sandboxes, Apex tests & coverage, dependencies, and rollback/hotfix.
- Solid scripting/automation skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python) and experience with build tools and artifacts.
- Experience with quality gates and code checks such as automated tests, static analysis, and PR policies.
- Knowledge of authentication and secrets management (service connections, Key Vault or equivalent).
- Academic degree in Computer Science or comparable qualification.
